The Tradis system is a more advanced approach to timber frame
construction with U-values well above the building regulation
requirements. Vapour is allowed to travel through the panel so
you can keep an airtight building without the risk of condensation
build up. The panels are filled with insulation called Warmcel.
Warmcel is made from 100% recycled newspaper and very little
energy is used when producing Warmcel. Tradis panels can be used
for walls, floor and roof panels and large clear spans can be
achieved making it a very versatile system. For customers wishing
to achieve higher levels of the code for sustainable homes, this is
timber frame system you require to achieve levels 4 to 6. This wall
system can achieve U-Values of 0.14 W/m2K this way surpasses
current building codes which demands a U-Value of 0.35 W/m2K.
The depth of stud can be increased or decreased to produce the
desired U-Value.
